Tuomey Fellows

Since 2001, the Tuomey Fellows program has given business and volunteer leaders from the community a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on at Tuomey and in healthcare in general. Participants attend healthcare-oriented class sessions, focusing on everything from surgical services and cardiac procedures to administration of a community nonprofit hospital. In addition, they tour the hospital and observe its intricate workings, from surgeries to the emergency room. By the time they graduate, they are very knowledgeablein the daily operations of the Tuomey Healthcare System and are ambassadors for their community’s hospital.
