Jeff Faw is the Executive Director/CDO of the Tuomey Foundation. Jeff is a graduate of High Point (NC) University with a business degree in Economics and Marketing. Jeff joined Tuomey in 2007 as Administrative Director of Business Development. Prior to Tuomey, Jeff spent 25 years in sales, marketing and senior management positions in various industries -- most recently as President of Sumter Furniture Company, a division of Chromecraft Revington Corp. Jeff is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
He and his wife Jeanne have resided in Sumter for 20 years. They have 3 children, Jared, Spencer, and Larsen. Jeff has served on the Board of Trustees for both Trinity United Methodist Church and the Sumter Family YMCA. Jeff is also a member of the Sumter Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, SC Medical Group Managers Association, Shaw Honorary Wing Commander Program, Shaw-Sumter Community Council, the Economic Development/SSGI Investor Oversight Board and a graduate of Leadership Sumter Class XXI.
Thelma "T.K." Smith
T.K. is the Foundation Coordinator for the Tuomey Foundation. Originally from Michigan, T.K. went to Ferris State University in Big Rapids. She received her Associate degree in Health Sciences. Before working at Palmetto Health Tuomey, T.K. worked at a local hospital in Michigan throughout college and several years after. She rejoined the work force in 1989 as an Employment Specialist at Norman Williams. T.K. was hired at Palmetto Health Tuomey in 1997 as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources. She was soon promoted to Employment Coordinator and in 2000 became the Nurse and Allied Health Recruiter. T.K. retired in 2014 only to return to the Palmetto Health Tuomey family in 2015 in her current role at the Tuomey Foundation.
T.K. has been married over 50 years. She has one son, Jeffery, and loves spending time with her new grandson, Ryder.
